Parties, Fam-Bam and Sweets like Red Velvet Cupcakes and Caramel-Marshmallow-Brownies

As we've celebrated my cousins 18th Birthday, I made some Red Velvet Cup Cakes with a "Frozen" Decoration and some very very very sweet Caramel-Marshmallow-Brownies. The other guest and the birthday-kid himself kinda liked my sweets I brought. We ate a lot this evening...was so much fun to see all the family back together again. Eating together, talking bout good ol times, laughing and having fun together...Doing stuff like this more often? It would be fine with me! ;)  Christmas-Time brings Family closer! <3

This is btw also the reason, why I didnt posted so much on my blog since Friday. I'm quite busy with preparing "December" and Parties and lots of Fam-Bam is going on. But my mind is full of new stuff which I will write down as soon as it is a little bit quiter in my "casa" ;) The show must go on ;) Oh, my Instagram is updated daily. Go check, like and follow ;)

Dezember...

Noch dreimal schlafen und der 1. Advent ist da. Ob wir bis dann auch Schnee haben, kann ich zwar nicht garantieren, aber auch ohne Schnee kann man es sich im Dezember gemütlich machen. Hier ein paar "Tipps" von mir, wie man die Weihnachtsstimmung zu sich nach Hause holt!

I am still sooo passionated with doing my "Inspiredbylooks". Didnt had a Chance to do it the last two weeks. But today I took the time to do one. I love being inspiredby all those good dressed celebrities and get their style..not to say steal em ;) I bought the most pieces years ago and collected them in my wardrobe. Couldn't throw them away because I love all my clothes.

I started to do these "Inspiredbylooks" since I went shopping with my first pocketmoney. My style was mostly an inspiration  from all the stylish ladies in the movies, videoclips and magazines. This why I call myself Malyficent_inspired. I guess all those years I bought some nice pieces..this is why I am able to make all those Celebrity-Looks.

Here is my newest Inspiredbylook....inspiration comes from beautiful Nina Debrov. She is soooo the "Girl next door" but much more prettier and with absolute amaaaziiinnnggg hair!! I'm so jelly!! Hahaha...take a look at our Floraprint-Skirt with Lace Application combined with a Leatherjacket and black tights and Ankleboots. Love the look. My Outfit is completly by H&M

I steal Celebrities -Looks but mines are sooooooo on budget. What I always use to say: "Dress well, spend less". :)

Mein wannabe Thanksgiving

Am Donnerstag, 27. November 2014 findet das Erntedackfest, besser bekannt als Thanksgiving, statt. Thanksgiving ist ein Feiertag in den USA am der jeweils am letzten Donnerstag im November stattfindet. Für die Amerikaner ist es eins der wichtigsten Feste, wo man sich das am Wochenende mit der ganzen Familie trifft und dankbar ist und darum auch vor dem Thanksgiving-Essen Danksagungen aufsagt. Jede Person am Tisch bedankt sich für das wofür man besonders dankbar ist in diesem Jahr. Auch ein Thanksgiving-Brauch ist das brechen des Gabelbeins (Wishbone) des Truthahns. Das Fest ist angelehnt an das Pionierleben der Pilgerväter. Im Mittelpunkt dieses Fests steht eine grosse Mahlzeit und im Mittelpunkt der Mahlzeit steht der gebratene und gefüllte Truthan (roasted turkey) mit Beilagen wie Cranberry Sauce, Sweet Potatoes und Gemüse wie Mais, Bohnen und Erbsen (was man eben so im Herbst erntet) und zum Nachtisch gibt es einen Pumpkin oder Apple Pie (die Reste von Halloween ;)).

Der Freitag nach Halloween nennen die Amerikaner "Black Friday" (btw rufen diverse Celebrities auf, den Black Friday dieses Jahr zu boykottieren aufgrund der Geschehnisse um Mike Brown). Das einzige wo ich darüber weiss, ist das in allen Geschäften sehr hohe Rabatte gewährt werden. Sehr praktisch für die Weihnachtseinkäufe! Meistens sind die Malls an diesem Tag überfüllt und grosses Gedränge ist angesagt!! Also, ob das wirklich so toll ist? Jedoch sind die Rabatte wirklich sehr sehr hoch, alles wird zum Spottpreis verhökert!!!!! hmmm...one moment of silence please......

Hier in der Schweiz wird das Thanksgiving Fest nicht gefeiert, aber wie auch in den USA ist hier in dieser Zeit auch Truthahn und Kürbis Saison. Deshalb könnte man inspiriert von den Amerikaner auch hier das Wochenende mal im Stil von Thanksgiving kochen und sich mit der Familie treffen. Why not! I am down for it! Immerhin feiern wir auch schon vermehrt Halloween....I like. Da ich kein grosser Fan von Truthan bin (ausser er kommt aus dem Backofen von meiner Mutter) werde ich dieses Jahr wohl ein Perlhuhn servieren. Auch ein wilder Vogel. Perlhuhn ist super lecker und auch nicht so riesig wie der Turkey ;). Auf was ich natürlich nicht verzichten werde ist die Cranberry Sauce, ohne Cranberry Sauce kein Thanksgiving feeling! Danksagungen werden wir wohl auslassen. Ich als Buddhistin bin immer dankbar für das was ich habe. Vor allem für meine Familie und deren Gesundheit!

Nach diesem ganzen Thanksgivings-Stress kommen dann langsam die Weihnachtsdekorationen auf die Strassen, an die Häuser und in die Läden und ohne dass es einem überhaupt bewusst ist, befindet man sich in der wunderbaren Pre-Christmas-Time!! 

Na dann, happy wannabeee Thanksgiving!! :D

Life is not always beautiful. 
Ja, auch ich möchte mich in meinem Blog mal zu ernsteren Themen äussern und meine Meinung dazu sagen, da wie jeder weiss, das Leben nicht immer schön ist. Was auch wieder die neusten Schlagzeilen beweisen. 

Im August 2014 erschoss der Polizist Darren Wilson den Jugendlichen Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. Nun entschied sich die Jury zu folgendem Urteil: "Es sei zwar eine tragische Geschichte, aber der Polizist habe in Notwehr gehandelt!!" Das es nun in Missouri und auch in anderen Städten in den USA zu Unruhen und Protesten gekommen ist, wundert ja wohl niemand mehr!

Ich finde das ist wirklich sehr traurige Geschichte. Natürlich kann ich nicht besser als ein Gericht beurteilen, welches über Beweismittel und Zeugenaussagen verfügt, aber immer wieder gibt es heutzutage noch solche Fälle, wo ich trotz allem nicht nachvollziehen kann, zumindest nicht die Art und Weise wie Urteile gefällt und Strafen erteilt werden. Vorallem wenn Farbige dabei involviert sind.

Ich habe letztens den Film "The Butler" mit Forest Whitetaker geschaut. Dort wird einem wieder vor Augen geführt, wie hart es in den früheren Jahren für die Farbigen Menschen war. Für die nicht "Weissen". Damals war nicht alles selbstverständlich. Die Toiletten waren unterteilt auf Farbige und nicht Farbige. Weisse durften an der Bar ihr Essen in den Diners einnehmen, was für Farbige aber untersagt war. Unvorstellbar wie die Afroamerikaner für ihre Rechte kämpfen musste, um Dinge zu tun, welche für die "Weissen" und uns von heute mehr als selbstverständlich ist. Damals war es leider ein echter Kampf. Der Film hat mich sehr traurig gestimmt, da ich mir nicht vorstellen kann, wie man es zulassen konnte, dass es solche Regeln gab. Ich kann mir beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen, dass ich nur auf gewisse Toiletten dürfte.

Die Regeln wurde jetzt zwar geändert und jeder Mensch, egal ob schwarz, weiss, braun, rot oder gelb hat die gleichen Rechte. Doch wenn dann wieder so etwas passiert wie im Fall Michael Brown, frage ich mich schon, sind wir da wirklich schon durch????

Es gibt übrigens einen anderen Fall, wo ein schwarzer 16-jähriger zu 23 Jahren Haft verurteilt wurde, weil er einen Polizeihund erschossen hat. Um es gleich vorweg zu sagen, ich hasse Menschen, die Tieren was zu Leide tun oder gar töten(!!!!), aber nur als Vergleich wollte ich dies nennen!!

Ich muss immer wieder betonen, wie dieser Fall mich traurig stimmt. Die Welt ist noch lange nicht in Ordnung!

Mit diesem BlogPost wollte ich nur mal kundgeben, wie meine Gedanken dazu sind. Das soll keine politische Aussage sein. Ich möchte niemanden beleidigen oder zu Nahe treten. Jeder darf darüber denken wie er/sie möchte. Dies sind lediglich meine Gedanken dazu und mehr nicht.....

Time for some Transformation

Now(!!) is the best time to start up a Transformation with yourself. What I mean with that? As the cold time is here, everybody thinks that it is ok to eat whatever junkfood you want and to let oneself go. But no, think about it. Now, in that time of the year, nobody needs to see you in your bikini or shorts, thats why its exactly the right time to start the BEAST MODE and go to the gym, eat clean and healthy and make SPORT. Because nobody will notice it and you can do it without pressure. You just do it for you and your body and health. Imagine, then when summer is back and everybody is complaining about their winter fat, you're like..."uummhh naahh my booty is quite aight;)". This is only possible when you bust your ass during wintertime! (of course cheat days in between, e.g. a cup of Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows, is aight) Eat healthy does't mean you can only eat boring and tastless food. The possibilities are huge! "You don't have to eat less, you have to eat right"

As I have a fantastic brother, who started, to grapple with Training and healthy Eating, I asked him to make me a plan, how to train and eat the right way to start a healthy life and feel comfortable with my body. I don't wanna be Miss Fitness, but I want to feel my body, feel the muscles and feel healthy and clean. Do I ask for too much? haha...ok back to my brother, he made a huge transformation the last years and I'm very proud, he works so hard to reach his goals and is inspired and focussing on the positive. 

Soon I will come up with a NEW BLOG POST with advices and eating plans and meals from him to get the BEAST MODE on and be ready for Summer 2015! He is now working on it and we will present it to you soon. Keep your eyes on the BLOG ;)

Kylie Hair Kouture

Kylie Jenner ist uns allen bekannt für Ihre ständig wechselnden Haarfarben und Styles (was ich übrigens LIEBE). MAC is back with two collaborations! -these news are MACnificent!!!

mac does have two new collabs to offer. one is MAC X Giambattista Valli with "newly" haute couture designer GIAMBATTISTA VALLI and then there is the collab with nepalese-american fashion designer PRABAL GURUNG. in my opinion both look AMAAAZING!!! only the designs of the wraps makes me wanna buy em, own em and enlarge my MAC collection! and btw it comes with some stunning colors, both!! To sad that we have to wait until sommer 2015 for Giambattista Valli, but to ease the wait Prabal Gurung collection is announced for November 26, 2014. Well Ladies I guess, there is nothing wrong with making yourself a little pre-christmas-present! ;)
